Someone in a mask robbed the Wells Fargo bank in Robesonia
on Tuesday, Jan. 10, police confirmed Friday.
The robber took an undisclosed amount of money about 4:50
p.m., just before closing.
The robber did not show or imply a gun, according to Western
Berks Police Department.
Nobody was injured. Police would not give more details.
No one at the branch, at 1 W. Penn Ave., could comment, a
woman who answered the phone said.
Wells Fargo spokesman Kevin Friedlander, in Summit, N.J.,
said he hadn’t heard about the robbery. He said the company does not comment while
police are investigating.
