Feb. 25: Launched by high winds, this former trampoline must have been airborne for at least a few hundred feet before catching a mailbox post on Connecticut Avenue in Green Valley, Lower Heidelberg.


Feb. 7: A Lower Heidelberg landowner has demolished a beautifully restored farmhouse because he had violated a deed restriction when he built his new house behind it.

The former borough hall and library are nearly gone. Workers are shoring a shared wall before removing the final building at 3920 Penn Ave.

Fatal fire
Maira Bazan, 24, died Monday, Aug. 22, after jumping from a third-floor window during a fire at 3996 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring. Another woman also jumped and was seriously injured.






Signs of big change
Sinking Spring gets read for the demolition of the former Lesher's Servicenter and the former borough hall to align the intersection of Cacoosing, Columbia and Penn avenues.







Communications
This giant company does not present a good image in Sinking Spring, with the weeds and rotting logo.
